Ruthies’ Inn was the home to the Bay Area thrash explosion in the early 80’s. Wes Robinson was the founder of the legendary Ruthie's Inn on San Pablo Avenue in Berkeley, California. From about 1983-87 this was the home of Bay Area Metal.
